Fly fishing for sea-run cutthroat in Puget Sound
Sea run cutthroat trout inhabit the margins of aquatic communities. These are the runs, washes and aquatic byways that other salmonids rarely frequent. Their nuptial beds are in the margins of very small streams and tributaries. These are where they spend two to three formative years feeding in their mostly hidden lairs. When they move down and out of rivers and streams and into estuaries they prefer outer margins of ever-changing nearshore areas.

Puget Sound, WA - American Fly Fishing
Called the ghost of the flats, the silvery bonefish is the holy grail of flats fishing. Its speed in the water and chameleonlike color make it the ultimate challenge to catch, and because of its elusiveness, much of the joy of bonefishing is in searching for the fish. Finding bonefish from a skiff and while wading are thoroughly covered, as is catch-and-release.
